Shame on me, but I always forget what a prolific writer Virginia Woolf was. When I saw all those covers, I was amazed at how many works she produced, in between hosting the likes of Ernest Hemingway et al at her apartment.

She managed to write a lot, especially considering all of the emotional trouble that she went through upon completing each book. Hard core troubles.
Virginia really wasn’t much of a literary hostess…are you, perhaps, thinking of Gertrude Stein? She wrote a decent amount, and held a weekly open house for artists, writers, and musicians, etc.

I thought so! Or else, there is a huge part of Virginia Woolf’s life I know nothing about.
