Yes, “Misery” was pretty awful. I could feel his pain. On the other hand, danger for me comes in the form of a wheel falling off my chair when I sit at my desk. Happened again today.

Oh, yes! I read the book and saw the movie when I was in high school. Scary stuff. The universe is making a habit of stripping your chair of random wheels? I hope you manage to come away unscathed!

Surprised to see they left out Naked Lunch. It’s got murder, bugs, drug addiction, police problems, monsters, poverty, mental illness, and more. And it’s all a direct result of writing!!!
