I would say that goal #5 and #6 are something I try to keep in mind as well. Sometimes it is hard for other people to understand that you take your work seriously.

That is so true, Judy! It is really difficult for some people to believe/accept/understand that creative work is not only valuable but that it is also, indeed, work.

I clock in at around 12 books a year, my life’s dream is to be able to read EVERYTHING interrupted with am endless IV drip of Latte’s! Great post!

My reading goal this year is 100 books. We’ll see how close I come to that mark. I have to have time to write, eat, sleep, etc.
Put tea in that IV and I am right there with you! 🙂

I remember these goals from last year, and #5 is the one I really took to heart. I had less creative time this year, but because I viewed it as valuable, it was actually more productive.

I am trying to strike a balance between that which is reasonable and that which is ambitious. Not too easy, not too pie-in-the-sky.
