Wow, Hemingway sure is a character. My husband’s teaching him right now to his high schoolers. Some of them love him, some of them hate him. I vacillate between the two as well.
I fell in love with Dorothea from page one! Her horrible marriage was extremely entertaining. I really related to her frustration and it was fun to hate her husband!
I was strictly veg for a decade, then I met, lived with, and eventually married a chef. I still eat veg 85% of the time, but when I eat meat I am not ashamed. I just try to listen to my body’s needs now. As for his burger recipe, it mostly sounds good to me except for one thing. Being married to a chef has really made me give side-eye to basic dishes with too many ingredients.

Yes, he is. When it comes to Hemingway, I think that most people vacillate between love and hate.

Being an unrepentant carnivore, I was fascinated by Hemingway’s burger recipe. I think he’s really on to something there.
