Confession: I have never read any of her writing.
That is a terrible thing to say. I’m changing that on the weekend.

Most people haven’t. She mostly wrote articles. I’m trying to track down more of her stuff. It is not easy.

Greetings, I am Josephine Turpin Washington’s great-granddaughter. If anyone is able to direct me to a source of her writings, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not currently have any myself, but have heard about her from my father, her grandson. By the way, there is an article about her in Wikipedia. Catherine

Hi,
How fascinating to have such an interesting and accomplished woman in your family tree! Thanks for reaching out. 🙂 I’d try a Google search to see if any of her works, which should be in the public domain, are available online. It would be a start, at least.
