George Bernard Shaw wore suits almost as well as he wrote plays. Case in point:

George Bernard Shaw, 1909.
The hat is a nice touch.

George Bernard Shaw, 1914.
Hmm. This looks familiar.

George Bernard Shaw, 1946.

Isn’t is amazing how men dressed in suits and ties every day, put a hat on to go out. Now I cringe when I see a guy in a wife-beater come in to a nice restaurant.

Yes, it is. My husband has a large wardrobe that includes many, many suits. I love him for that (well, and hundreds of other reasons).
I have never seen a man in a wife-beater in a nice restaurant (lucky me), but I will have to ask The Chef if he has!

It should be a rule that men wear vests and suspenders. Oh, but then I’d have to up my look a bit. Never mind. 🙂

I don’t know about a rule, but at least a good, healthy suggestion!
