That’s a great image. I think prefer the one with the filter, tint. It’s nice, though, how there are just a few large ones to let you know what all the little ones are. Very nice capture.

Thanks! The tinted one is my fave, too. Capture is definitely the correct word. They announced the balloon release with no warning. I had tied my balloon to my wrist because it was ferociously windy. I managed to pull it off, let go of it, and snap 5 images–all in about 15 seconds. This is the first one I took, and the only one I looked at before clicking. It’s definitely the best of the lot, for the exact reason you stated. Plus, you can actually see the writing on the balloon in the lower right corner. That bit of writing is the key to the “mystery” of this image, so I am glad it turned out.
