I rarely put things of value into the *actual* wastebasket (although it has happened), in case the rejects are perfect for another piece of writing. But, I do ruthlessly remove things (often, very good things) from their original place. So, I believe in the spirit of this idea if not always its literal execution.
Yep. I feel the pull of both of these sentiments. I believe that I shall remain on the fence. And yes, I will continue to keep most of everything. Which is why I need to get a 1Terabyte hard drive.
Love this, though I can’t really through anything completely away. It goes into the compost bin, a la Natalie Goldberg.
