Ain’t it the truth!
A tiny story: One of the kids in the writing group I mentor spent her summer vacation compiling a giant spreadsheet of characters for her novella this year. On this chart, she included characters’ names, age, eye colour and hairstyles. It’s truly impressive.

That’s awesome. She seems quite focused, which is something that writers of all ages struggle with. Good for her.
