Mine, too! My mom has a small calendar page with this image on it, that she has tacked to the wall by her desk. It inspired me to do this post! LikeLike Reply ↓

We’re having wet snow, which makes me want to follow Jane’s advice and stay home. (Actually I’m wishing I could make like the bears and hibernate!) Unfortunatly I don’t look nearly as elegant as the lady in this lovely painting when I lounge. LikeLike Reply ↓
It’s cold here, but dry. Thank goodness! Still, I am totally taking Jane’s advice this weekend. Hopefully, your snow stays wet and does not stick. Oh, I adore paintings of women who are lounging (especially with a book in hand or nearby), yet I am 99% sure I never look as good as they do. LikeLike Reply ↓
Ha – that is exactly what I did today. I stayed home and read the entire day. It was heavenly. LikeLike Reply ↓

That’s what I plan on doing for the next couple of days. Sargent was one of a kind.
