Beautiful painting, maedez. All of the colors are quiet which makes the painting quiet and the focus on the girl. Kind of reminds me of me when I was young, always snatching a minute to read or anyplace to read. If my mother saw me reading a book she would find something for me to do.

It is a lovely painting, isn’t it?
It reminds me of myself, too, but for a different reason. I’m always reading. If I’m doing something else and see a book that I left sitting around, I have to pick it up and read a few pages. Fortunately, my family never told me to stop reading. They knew better. 🙂
