I love De Quincey. I read his “Confessions” in an afternoon, after wanting to read it for years and years.
He certainly does have a piece called “On Murder Considered as one of the Fine Arts.”
Any essay that includes “Confessions” will be interesting.

That’s so good to hear. Maybe this will motivate me to finish it. I’ve been shamefully putting it on the proverbial back burner.

I enjoyed it, but I realize that my literary taste isn’t for everyone. I’m interested to know what you think of it, though.
