They are very cute and very bold sometimes, maedez. We have a creature called a ground squirrel – they look like bigger chipmunks. They have eaten my flowers down to the nub and the parents were teaching the five babies all about it.
I know of ground squirrels! How lucky you are, though, to see a whole family of them. Five babies–how adorable. Too bad they don’t mind their manners about your flowers…

This chipmunk definitely has a hang-out spot. It was there both times we walked by last Friday. Too cute.
