*I think this list is weird.
The most-hated books was truly fascinating. I was STUNNED to see half the books on there – as for the other half, I was delighted to see them on the list. There was no middle ground for me.
I was so glad to see one book in particular on that list. It drives me crazy that everyone thinks it’s such a great book, while I can not stand the writing. I don’t get what people see in it.
Ah well! Each to his own, no?

I was stunned, too. It was…odd. Not that I care for all of the books on the list, of course.
Now you have me intrigued. Which book do you hate? I must know! If you don’t want the whole world to know, you can always email me. 🙂 Please, please, please!

I can not stand “Eat, Pray, Love”. I tried reading it and tried liking it – I really did. When I realized the writing style was not one I enjoyed, I started skimming the rest of the book, searching for something I could at least find interesting.
I will give the author this: It was brave of her to publish such personal, seemingly unedited thoughts. I could never do that.

That is an answer I can get behind. I think her choice to publish that book was calculated more than brave. It paid off for her, though, even if many people hate the result.
