This afternoon, we plunged in the brisk, bracing waters of yet another social media platform: tumblr.

There is no pressure, dear readers. If you are on tumblr, it would be just lovely if you clicked the follow button. If not, no worries. We aren’t going anywhere, we are just sharing our love.
Things to know: some of the lighter content on tumblr will be exclusive to that site. Our horizons will be a bit larger there, too. Fashion, tea, silent movies, punk rock, history…

I’ve always wanted to experiment with tumblr and got as far as setting up an account….but I’ve forgotten my password. I’m glad accomplished more than I did. Your site looks great!

Thanks very much! It is a cinch to set up, and once you have done that it is even easier to do posts. It is way more about visual bites than WordPress is, so the time involved is minimal.

Thanks! It is super easy to set up, and posts take no time at all (unless you do long form things, but that is more what WordPress is for than tumblr). Essentially, people post photos, memes, quotes, and do lots and lots of reblogging.

I just started Tumblr, too, about a month ago. I’m not sure it’s for me, but I will definitely follow you until I decide to stay or go…

I wasn’t sure, either. I kept putting it off, but then WordPress posted about it on Wednesday, and showed examples of how other bloggers use it in relation to their WP blog…I realized that it was time to give it a go. I think we both need to stick with it awhile, in order to give it a fair shot. On the upside, it is super easy to use and barely takes any time. So, there’s that.
