Apparently, fountain pens are enjoying something of a renaissance. I do not think you need to worry. My fountain pens are not of the cartridge variety, though, so I guess I never have to worry.
You must have the kind with the little lever that sucks up the ink from a bottle. I think these pens represent how much we value the past and our love of writing words down on a page.
So that’s what I gotta look like if I’m ever gonna be great. Studiousness is key.

Well, it was 1911! I have a couple of fountain pens; they definitely make me feel like a writer when I use them.

I frequently use a fountain pen as well, maedez. My fear is they will stop making the cartridges for them.

I do! I agree. I do not use it every day, but when I do there is something almost meditative about how connected I am to my writing.
