  1. Wow. I’m pretty sure the real fireworks won’t measure up now. Here’s what I’ll do tonight: I’ll go to the fireworks show, take a print out of this with me, and turn my back to the real fireworks. Then I’ll have their sound with this picture.

  2. Isn’t that beautiful. I bet he enjoyed painting that. No fireworks for us – too risky and we have enough fire to last all summer. However, BBQ ribs tonight and ice cream, of course. Not together, needless to say. And Happy Fourth to you maedez. No matter what is going on in the world and here, I am grateful to live here.

    • I could see the neighborhood fireworks from the second story of our house. It rained during the whole show, so I am glad I was inside. Cinci itself does not do 4th of July fireworks. It is super low-key here. The Chef worked, so it was just me and the dogs.

      Ribs and ice cream sound like a great, summery combo!
