Here is my double standard when it comes to furs: I love the look and feel of fur, but if it includes the animal’s head, then I am against it. Yes, this is an unreasonable stance, but there it is all the same.
Fur creeps me out. I would never wear it and do not understand its appeal, but to each their own. I will admit, however, that fur is so soft…I always touch it when walking by the fur sections of department stores. I immediately feel contrite, but I cannot help myself.

Her mother did a wonderful painting – the eyes have it.

I love how confident this person is in this portrait. The portrait is alive, breathing, almost.

She looks so healthy and alive and fantastic, doesn’t she? It certainly does not hurt things that the artist is her mother.

Oh really? She did a wonderful job of rendering her daughter. Guess that love, when you feel it for your child.
