I know! He is my favourite poet, and one of his (some would say entirely inappropriate) poems was read during my wedding service. The entire ceremony was made up of poems, actually. So, anyway, I adore his work.

It was definitely unique! It was Scottish Punk Rock Hollywood Vintage Glam with a literary twist. Haha, I guess I can say it was too hard to classify. We didn’t exchange vows. The ceremony was 4 poems and a song sung by a close friend, and was officiated by The Chef’s sister. We didn’t promise to love, honor, cherish, or anything else. It was fun. We got married 2 1/2 hours into our wedding, if that tells you anything. And I walked out to The Clash song Clash City Rockers. Yeah, definitely not normal. 🙂
