That dress would be quite versatile. It’s a perfect lounging-and-reading dress, but still chic enough to receive noblemen/ladies who might drop by.

I adore this dress. If I had the money to employ a dressmaker, I’d constantly have them make reproductions of clothing found in old paintings.
