This is a good one! I actually do collages a lot for my own writing, because, although, I write, I am mostly visual…part of me wishes I was a visual artist.
I do physical inspiration boards, too. They are a great tool. I also make collages, including some built around my stories and essays. Writing and art are wonderful companions.

I do, too. It is hilarious!
The flapper is Lois Long, aka “Lipstick”. She wrote a nightlife column for The New Yorker during the 1920s. She was pretty risque.
“Tomorrow we may die, so let’s get drunk and make love.” Yeah, she was definitely a modern woman.

The photo speaks to my soul 🙂 That constant push and pull between tradition and modernity. Some days I’m one and other days the other.
