She sat there
reading
as it watched
the statue
made of
stone
she thought
quite rightly
that she was
sitting quite
alone
but happily the
statue watched
as she perused her
flyer
it’s stoney heart
began to soar
his joy just took him
higher
for lonely was
the sculpture he
shackled to one
place
the joy he felt
this very day
came from looking at her
face
