      • I’ve had their Ginger Peach! It is good. For the most part, I buy loose tea and from local purveyors (although I have exceptions to the last rule). Churchill’s is at our local public market (they have an online store, too) and they hand-blend their teas. They are super nice. The wife is from London originally, but her American husband actually looks more than a little like Winston.

      • I would love to see what he looks like. I am more of a coffee drinker to be honest, but when I am ill, I drink tea or make a cold flavored tea. Tomorrow, maedez, I will drink a cup of tea in your honor.

      • Well, he is very Churchill-esque, to be sure! I never drink coffee, as I hate the taste and cannot stand the smell. My daily beverages are tea (always properly brewed and of good quality) and water. I hope you enjoyed your cuppa!

      • Haha, thanks! My husband considers it a fault, too. I tell him he should be grateful that he doesn’t have to share his coffee!

  1. My Mum gave me a beautiful ceramic tea pot complete with cups and when I sit down to brew a pot, it truly is a most wonderful, hair unwinding time.

    • There is something very ritualistic about brewing a pot of tea. I usually just make single cups, but about once a week (okay, maybe twice) I brew a pot. I own several, but I am partial to this set because it was a wedding gift.
