Strange how the same events sound so different from someone else’s viewpoint. It sounds enviable yet, as Plath showed us so painfully, it wasn’t the whole story. Thanks for sharing x

  True, but rehashing these experiences formed a good portion of her body of work. Painful or not, they did their job (so to speak). Being able to go through the fire and transform them the way she did IS enviable, even if the initial experiences were not.
