We’ll let Dorothy Parker’s wit speak for itself, in the form of these Etsy goodies. Enjoy!

Dorothy Parker Poster by Kayci Wheatley-$22.00
I love the graphic pink and white design of this poster. It is a nice contrast to Parker’s acerbity.

Another piece of literary art that I would love to have for my studio. Imagine that.

I just realized that I have a thing for typographical prints.

I wrote a sequel to it, but it was far too wordy, clunky, but it did have the lines: “Razor blades are diamond gems/daggers have a point…”

Nice. Those lines are damn good.

Thanks, and, if I recall: “Trains tantamount to stop/an accelerated engine of self-decollation/head-on collision, a thrilling division/just heed the mindless mess.”
There’s also a line about sleeping pills being dreamy girls… But if brevity is the soul of wit, Dotty Parker kicked my ass.

There was only one Dorothy Parker, so there is no shame in her kicking your ass. She kicks all of our asses if we try to play on her field. Your lines are still good, though (especially the first two lines from earlier). I also really like the middle two here. Not that there is anything wrong with those bracketing them, I just really like the middle ones. Which means exactly nothing, I know. Just my opinion.

I wrote it a long time ago, before I started thinking about poetry proper, which was only a couple of years ago, which was then as a means to feed the addiction while I wasn’t able to work on a novel.
And thanks…
