That would be sublime. I love her. Since it is in upstate New York, may I assume it is on the property where she lived?

She was a free spirit in many ways. I know all the towns in Maine where she lived and would be quite happy to go to almost any poet’s retreat.

Oh, yes she was! I love Maine and cannot wait to visit again.

We lived on one of the peninsulas for five years, made good friends and had great times. But the weather got to be a bit much after experiencing Arizona. I miss the fresh fish and lobster.

Lucky, lucky! I would definitely take Maine over Arizona, even though I hate winter-and have family in Phoenix.

Well, that just does not make sense, maedez. Tucson is a happening place – just so you know.

Aw, I am sure it is a happy place! Perhaps it is because I do not care to visit the relatives I have in Phoenix! Haha.

I can relate to that, too. I love it here. We have the Poetry Center at the U of A and they have wonderful readings and workshops. Just finished a two day poetry workshop and it was very interesting and intense.

That’s nice. Did you learn a lot from your poetry workshop?

Yes, I learned that poets and writers are a sensitive lot. Just like painters and printmakers.
