      • I did! Very interesting. Okay, will look for that. I am, though lots of drama around my elderly parents and my efforts traveling back and forth. The synopsis is done too, probably sending out tonight. 🙂

      • I hope things are as good as possible in:re your parents’ situation. That cannot be easy. Looking forward to the synopsis. 🙂

      • Maedez,

It really is not – especially when you have siblings that are spread out and think because they have children they can’t be quite as bothered. Annoying as hell, makes you wonder how they will feel someday when their children try to wash their hands of responsibility for them. Anyway, TMI but you know me being the girl and without children means: Ah she can do it. 😦 Anyway, emailed you the synopsis did you get it?

      • Ah, yeah, being lightly guilted into the caregiver role because you are the single one or the girl or the closest. That must be stressful all-around. My mom is only 61, so hopefully this won’t be an issue in my world for many years. Right now, my brother lives closest to her (right around the corner), and I am so envious…

I did get the synopsis. I’ve read it, too. 🙂 I will email you about it tomorrow. I am sick (have been for several days), and I am just so tired. So I am trying to preserve my energy. I’m already behind on so many things!

      • Yes. And I am not offended by having to do it, but more by the assumption that I am the natural default and should have no issue because I don’t have children.

Hopefully when you get to where we are you and your brother can work like a loving and thoughtful team.

I won’t say more because I am trying to find a way not to be so angry over what I’m seeing. Anyway, glad you got the synopsis. Keep in mind, it will be edited and cleaned up (errors in type), but feedback on how the story hits you/doesn’t would be stellar.

And you can be completely honest, not judgmental. Just need to know my beats “work.” Lol.

OH NO. Well feel better! Sleep??? Maybe you just need to be in bed for a few days? You will catch up, you know sometimes illness is a signal to slow it. 0_o

      • I totally understand. Sometimes I get upset over people’s assumptions that I will do something, even if I am happy to do it. Discussion is always nice and respectful!

My bro and I are tight. I don’t think we will ever have issues like that.

No worries about the synopsis! I would never be judgmental; it is not my way. I will email you my thoughts when my head is clear enough. I am so tired that I probably wouldn’t be as cohesive as normal. You deserve opinions that make sense, and I am a bit out of it today.

Yeah, I really need to sleep for a couple of days solid. Hard to justify, since I was already behind on work because of vacation…and, now, this. But it is probably the only thing that will work.

      • Oh nooo lolol, I should have put an “I’m” in front of judgmental. I meant I am not, so you can say whatever. I just want your authentic opinion.

But take your time, get better first.

And I envy anyone who has a strong relationship of respect, regard and communication w/ their sibling. Over years, with families and a shift in priorities, folks change (sometimes).

Well justify it. Lol. Otherwise, your illness may drag on and also affect the quality of the work when you do apply yourself.

If you’re not used to taking time off, your mind is gonna fight it, but ignore it. 🙂

      • Haha, no worries! You shall have my authentic opinion–hopefully, this weekend. I am forcing myself to take it easy for a couple of days, though.

The brother and I get along beautifully, even though because he is 16 1/2 years younger than me. It is amazing how much we have in common.

I am definitely trying my best to ignore the feelings of guilt I am having for being so lazy. 🙂

      • I know you are, it’s in your commenting. But it’s okay, I am sure you deserve a break. 🙂

One day I just wish my siblings and I the ability to talk and listen more deeply and respectfully. Doing better with one, the other and I are a bust. But you’re really lucky you have that with your brother. 🙂

And I’ll bet your mom is elated about it. Siblings should value and regard one another. Honestly it’s your point of origin.

You and your brother have a gift in your relationship. Anyway, did a look over of synopsis. Started an edit so sending you newer version. It will say Synopsis 2. Please read that one. 🙂

      • Aw, thanks!

I am lucky to have a good relationship with my brother and mom, too. We all get along so well.

I got the Synopsis 2. I am finally feeling on the mend. I will get to it after playing a bit of catch-up. Hopefully within 2 days. Thanks for your patience. 🙂

      • That is beautiful, because life does a number on the values of folks and sometimes what emerges is what’s left. You’re blessed you’re going strong. I will be surprised if I even maintain a friendship with my siblings into age.

What I see, particularly around the care of my parents is deeply disturbing.

Great. Glad you got #2. Get to it when you can, no rush. Your feedback is valued when ever its delivered. 🙂

Also glad you’re feeling better Maedez. Hope you got some good rest… 🙂
