Two books from the mid-1800s, given to me by a friend.

Antique Books: Cornell’s Primary Geography and Cushing’s Manual (Rules of Proceeding and Debate in Deliberative Assemblies). Both copies are from the 1850s.

Ahhhhh the smell. 🙂
Not sure which smell is better: cookies or books?
I think cookies might have the edge. But barely.

Fantastic! I just want to leisurely flip through each page – especially the geography book. But, of course, I’d have those little white gloves they make you wear in the museum archives.

I have those gloves, because of my art gallery background. The books are so lovely in person. I cannot wait to read them.
