The essay I wrote yesterday in honor of my friend Frank really took a lot out of me. I’m drained. I’ve decided that I deserve a break from wading through my creativity. Tonight’s entertainment?

You are very right to do that! In fact it reminds me that I need to be doing that too – resetting my focus and charging my batteries, going to the country side and dedicating my time to Christmas musings…thanks for sharing your thoughts and plans!

You are welcome! I often want to hibernate in December and January. I have so much on my plate this month, professionally and personally, so it is just not a possibility. However, I am trying to take some mini-breaks, if just for a night, to slow down, relax, and refocus. I wish I could go to the countryside, though. It sounds lovely!

Heck yeah! Dapper men and classy strong ladies. I love the Golden Age of Hollywood. I don’t blame you for being glued to the tube at all.

I really needed the diversion, and, even though I’ve seen them both multiple times, I loved every second of the movies.

Haha, thanks! I ended up watching Top Hat but substituted The Shop Around the Corner for Sullivan’s Travels. 🙂

Thank you! He meant a lot to me. When I woke up Friday, I knew that the time was right to honor him. Although I am back to some (much lighter) writing today, I think I am doing another mini movie marathon.
